BRIEF: Wreath-laying volunteers sought for veterans cemetery

Sept. 16--HAMPTON -- The Navy Wives Clubs of America, Peninsula-Norfolk 91, is seeking donations and volunteers for wreath-laying ceremonies Dec. 13 at the thousands of graves in Hampton National Cemetery.

The ceremonies are part of Wreaths Across America, which honors veterans and teaches children about the sacrifices of the military. The cemetery is at Cemetery Road at Marshall Avenue in Hampton. A planning meeting will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.Oct. 9 at Northampton Community Center, 1435 Todds Lane, Building A, Hampton.
